Returns & Exchanges

We understand that sometimes things don't work out perfectly! Because each of our pieces is secondhand and truly one-of-a-kind, we review return requests on an individual basis to find the best solution for you.

Eligibility for Returns

  • Items must be returned within 7 days of delivery
  • Items must be unwashed, and in the same condition as received
  • We review return requests on an individual basis to find the best solution for you.

Return Process

To initiate a return:

  1. Contact us at info@hijabae.ca within 7 days of receiving your order
  2. Include your order number and reason for return
  3. We will review your request and respond within 2 business days
  4. If approved, we will provide return instructions

Return Shipping Costs

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping method
  • Hijabae is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item:

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
  • Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive an item that is damaged or significantly different from its description:

  • Contact us immediately at info@hijabae.ca with photos
  • We will work with you to resolve the issue, which may include a full refund or exchange
  • Return shipping will be covered by Hijabae for damaged or defective items

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Items marked as "final sale"
  • Items without original tags
  • Items that have been washed, or altered

Local Delivery Orders

For customers in the Edmonton, AB area who received free local delivery:

  • Returns can be arranged for local pickup
  • Contact us to schedule a return pickup time
