The Heart Behind Hijabae

Hijabae was built for the woman who is still becoming.

My name is Sara, and I founded Hijabae after embracing Islam and beginning my own journey into modesty. As a revert, I remember what it felt like to step into this new chapter — wanting to honour my faith, wanting to feel beautiful, and wanting clothing that supported the woman I was becoming.

But modest fashion wasn't always accessible. It was expensive, inconsistent, and often out of reach. I grew up thrifting, so I knew the beauty of giving clothing a second life — and I knew modest women deserved the same: intentional, affordable, dignified options that didn't compromise their values.

Hijabae was born from that place — a blend of my upbringing, my faith, and my desire to support women walking their own path of becoming.
